Beautiful turquoise Caribbean water. No real tide. A reef about half a mile out so it's pretty flat. You can get outside of the reef for some good swell. In Mexico, a 25 min drive north of Playa del Carmen, you´ll find kitespot Punta Maroma. Trade winds start in November and finish in May.
