How do I get to Isle of Lewis / Uig Bay?
Drive 36 miles from the airport. Head for west coast on A858 and in Garrynahine take the B8011 to Uig. Follow this road for 25 min and you will see the bay. Continue until you see signs for Ardroil Sands. Take that road and park near toilet block. There are buses but to hire a car/van is the best. The West coast is covered with excellent beaches.
