About J Street Bayside Park
Enclosed bay, flat to choppy, depending on wind direction and strength, tides not much of a factor here. Rip rap jetty and concrete fishing pier to the south, industrial boatyard to the north, so either stay upwind or stay close to the beach. Nice open waterway with minimal boat traffic except for holiday weekends. Lots of stingrays, so try to stay up. Lots of sharp rocks, recommend using foot protection of some sort.
