About Bawaki
The water is crystal clear, turquoise, relative warm with absolutely no reefs or any other obstacles. The tide is about 90 cm with no influence on the surfing conditions. Practically no or small shore waves. The water is generally flat to gentle chops. It's a dream for beginners. You can stand in the water as far as 150 m from shore. There is a reef and you can definitely get some nice cuts.

From Aqaba (Jordan), by ferry to Nuweiba is approximately 90 minutes. If you're coming by land from Eilat (Israel), Bawaki is 50 km south of the border. Taba (40 km), Sharm el Sheik (about 150 km).
