Water is shallow for first 200m then the edge of the reef plunges to 30m. Coral is present. Water depth for the first 200m is 1-1.5m so is enough to miss the coral on landings. There are no waves. The water is clear aquamarine and so blue and flat.

Fly to Ovda Airport Eilat, Israel. From the airport take a taxi/bus to supermarket (stock up on cigs, alcohol and toilet paper). Take bus or taxi to the Egypt border - 10 km max. Cross the border obtaining visa - cost 10 USD. Barter with Bedouin taxi driver for 10 dollar fare to Towte - 60 km south of the border. Out in the wilderness access only by 4x4 taxi from the Sinai Border in Israel or from Sharm el Sheik in South Sinai.
